What a week!!!

I had the most frustrating week ever!!! I had to go all around Brooklyn doing inventory for my internship and ended up spraining my ankle in the process. Then I got great news that I was going to get paid for my internship and on top of that I get to work on a video for the company! Ya!!! I am so excited to see what this weekend will bring... Maybe some drunken adventures with my old roomie????

New Work!!!

Above is my piece that was chosen to go into the display case at school. YAAA!!!! My first piece to be in the school display case. It makes me feel special!

Ha ha! Just had an amazing chat with my parents and they gave me some kick ass ideas for my projects! One which I thought was hysterical was an idea for a children's book (which of course I will not use, because of the content) would be My Teacher Touched Me... I think that it is hilarious! 

Rainy Day

I had to go around the city today in the rain and go on a FREAKING scavanger hunt for these stickers for my internship. I really didn't mind it except for the rain. I was drenched from head to toe and I bet you anything that I will get sick from this. I plan to not do any work tonight and to veg out and watch as many Inuyasha episodes as possible that I can possibly fit in my tiny skull... oh and eat like a pig!

Kicking my self in the butt!!!

I haven't checked this in ages and when I check it I was offered to do fashion drawings for a Fashion Week!!! It's way to late to do it now since the event is in like FOUR DAYS!!! I guess this means that you guys are actually looking at my work. That makes me very happy. Here is two new piece that was done over the summer. Hope you like it. Oh and the one of Ariel is done on the back of a clipboard. 

IF: Baby

 Hey!!! Sorry I haven't been updating my blog. Just finished school for the summer so I should have no excuse to not update my blog. Here is this week's IF, baby. It is a somewhat old drawing but I thought, why not re- hash it! 

IF: Primitive

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. I have been busy with school and other things (such as partying it up like a ROCK STAR!!) For this week I thought that a drawing of a cheeta is pretty PRIMITIVE. Cheetas are awesome and they are a primitive animal.

   I am totally obsessed with The Tudors and that whole time period. I exspecially love the story of Anne Boleyn.

   HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! My pet peeve is when people get neurotic about losing weight.

Was originally a project for a past homework but it goes so well with the topic, I couldn't refuse. 

IF: Multiple

This week, I chose multiple (2) images from my sketchbook that are of Anne Boleyn and King Henry VIII, in celebration of the new movie The Other Boleyn Girl, which comes out Feb. 29th! I am also in the process of using these images in an upcoming project that is in collaboration with a school in England. These are only preliminary sketches and will probably be changed.

IF: The Theory of Painting

Ha ha. It's true though. When ever I paint I always have way too many paint jars, either filled with paint, turpinoid, and other wonderful chemicals that will probably kill me later on in life.

IF: Choose

This piece is homework, but it fit well with this weeks choice. The story is that there once was a fisherman who had a choice of staying on land or living in the ocean with a mermaid. So I depicted the scene where he CHOOSE's to stay with the mermaid.

To tell you the truth, I am so shocked that my piece was chosen as the pick of the week. Thanks everyone for the amazing comments. BUT... that's not what this post is all about. This piece is originally a class project. The woman shown in the dress is Elizabeth Bathory. If you are a history buff you should know who she was. She was one of the first woman serial killers. The LEGEND is that she would kill young women whom were virgins and would bath in their blood and drink it because she thought that she would remain beautiful. That part probably isn't true but she did kill them none the less. Anyways, she was tried and was found guilty. She was locked in her tower and remained their for the rest of her life. Pretty gory, huh?

IF: Plain

Well, back in the city!!!! This piece is PLAIN... meaning no color what so ever. Just black and white. School is starting REALLY soon so I will try my hardest to continue with the Illustration Friday.

IF: Stitch

O.k, here is the Illustration Friday subject, Stitch. This one actually has a lot of meaning to me, but I won't go into it. Anyways it is made with charcoal pencils, watercolor pencils, and a little pen and ink.

Fashion Sketches

I have been sooo lazy lately. I haven't even been able to put up my IF on time!!!! Oh well, at least I did do something productive and upload my fashion sketches. I promise by tomorrow I will have my IF drawing up.
