Well, back in the city!!!! This piece is PLAIN... meaning no color what so ever. Just black and white. School is starting REALLY soon so I will try my hardest to continue with the Illustration Friday.
Hey, very nice charcoal copy of one of my favorite oil paintings in the Met: Young Woman Drawing, 1801, painted by Marie-Denise Villers (French, 1774–1821)
What is especially cool about this painting, aside from the fact that it is incredibly beautiful and skillful, is that it is painted by a woman of a woman, drawing! So now yours is a drawing (by a woman) of a painting (by a woman) of a woman drawing! ;->
